Since 2023, Al Bayan Foundation Baltistan, together with Imamia Medics International, has opened a hospital in the Bain Basha Valley district of Shigar to address the lack of medical services in this remote area. For many years, people faced numerous difficulties, especially during emergencies. When the Al Bayan Foundation noted all circumstances, we decided to rent a building for a hospital to bring hope to the local community.
Hospital Staff:
We are providing professional healthcare staff, including an MBBS doctor (medical officer), two junior medical technicians, one pharmacist, one lady health visitor, and one lady health visitor’s assistant.
The facilities we are providing:
one ambulance, one ECG machine, one ultrasound machine, one oxygen machine, six patient beds, one small lab, and a small pharmacy providing essential medicines for families.
We are here for you. Before 2023, the backward and remote area of District Shigar lacked such facilities. Residents of such an area had to travel up to six to seven hours for medical checkups. It was particularly difficult during emergencies, especially during pregnancy or delivery cases. Now our hospital staff is serving fully 24/7, ensuring that we are here for you!
All facilities at your doorstep:
Imamia Medics International Hospital is providing all necessities and facilities, such as all possible medicines, Ultrasound facilities, ECG facilities, etc. No one has to travel miles for an ultrasound or an ECG. We are providing free medicines for needy families, especially for orphans.
Ambulance Service:
Previously, many families lost their happiness by losing a loved one due to the longest distance they had to travel. Many women died on the dangerous road from the district of Shigar to Skardu during delivery. People of this village carried pregnant women on local wooden ladders in the winter season due to harsh weather conditions and blocked roads. Now, Al Bayan Foundation runs an emergency ambulance with Lady Fatima Charitable Trust in the Bain Basha valley district, Shigar, so no one has to carry a sick person on local wooden ladders anymore.
Every mother’s eyes shine with happiness:
It is a fully operational twenty-four-hour center with a medical officer and other hospital staff, along with a small lab for basic tests, especially caring for pregnant mothers and children. Every mother’s eyes shine with hope and happiness on the arrival of a newborn. No one has to lose their beloved one during an emergency situation.
Everyone returns home with hope: everyone returns home with a smiling face with their loved ones.

Imamia Medics International Hospital provides free medical camps for all needy families. Here we provide free blood tests, ultrasounds, ECG tests, and free medicines.
Health programs:
We organize health programs, especially for pregnant women and children. We gather all mothers and make them aware of what food to consume during pregnancy and which foods to avoid. Which foods are necessary for a child’s growth? Our doctor visits schools to conduct health programs.

In the middle of the night, our hospital staff shone a hope in the mother’s heart by safely bringing out her twin babies. At that moment, Mother’s eyes were grateful to us, and her pain became a pleasure. That moment was heart-touching!

In 2025, a flood washed away everything, including the happiness of families, leaving everyone helpless. At that time, Al Bayan Foundation became a haven and shelter for all people. We provided free medical camps with professional hospital staff to turn tears of sorrow into tears of happiness, despair into hope, and pain into comfort.

Al Bayan Foundation will further provide more updated equipment in the hospital to ensure better patient care, and we will organize various awareness programs, especially on Healthy Mother and Healthy Child. We strongly believe that a healthy mother leads a healthy life. We create a serene environment across this beautiful land. Our aim is not only to provide better facilities but also to build hope and comfort for every individual who comes to us!
