I am serving as a medical officer at IMI Hospital in Bain Shigar, a remote area in district Shigar, GB, lacking essential facilities. Without government support, Al Bayan Foundation acts as a beacon, providing vital services including education, healthcare, water, and power. Last year, a pregnant woman endured a harrowing 20-hour journey, carried by four or five locals in labor agony, a testament to the dire circumstances. Now, thanks to Al Bayan Foundation’s relentless efforts, health facilities are steadily improving, with basic emergency services, including ambulance support. This is just one facet of our journey. I hold hope and offer prayers that Al Bayan Foundation’s strides continue, enabling our region to thrive and compete with more developed areas.
